About the honoree
Rick Steves is the author of more than 50 travel guidebooks and the host and writer of public television’s most-watched, longest-running travel series, Rick Steves’ Europe.
Rick is also a longtime Bread for the World advocate, member, and spokesperson. He has worked for numerous years to help empower Bread for the World in advocating against hunger. Through Rick’s charitable giving and also by helping raise funds through his traveling friends and the network at Rick Steves’ Europe, Bread for the World has been able to continue working to give people struggling with hunger a voice in the fight to end hunger.
