The coronavirus (COVID-19) is a hunger crisis. Fifty-four million Americans are estimated to become food insecure by the end of the year, according to Feeding America. The U.N. World Food Programme warns the number of people facing extreme hunger could double, to 270 million people.

Bread members are insisting lawmakers pass a stimulus bill before leaving Washington, D.C. for the elections that prioritizes investments in nutrition.
